Visit the Great Sphinx, the Pyramids of Giza, and the Necropolis of Dahshur on a guided day trip from Cairo.

Get picked up from your Cairo hotel in an air-conditioned car and journey into Egypt’s fascinating and distinctive past.

Your first stop is the famous Pyramid of Giza, which also includes the Pyramids of Mykerinus, Cheops, and Chephren. Pay close attention as your Egyptologist tour guide reveals its amazing secrets. Take a photos while riding a camel with the enormous Giza pyramids in the background.

Continue on to the Great Sphinx, a massive limestone sculpture that was created in 2500 BC and features the head of King Chephren and the body of a lion. Afterward, visit the Valley Temple, used for the mummification of the pharaoh and his family.

Next, see Saqqara’s Step Pyramid of Zoser, one of the first instances of massive stonework from ancient Egypt. Visit a nearby restaurant for a delicious lunch after your exploration.

After lunch, visit the Red Pyramid of Dahshur, composed of red limestone. Admire this imposing structure, which is the third largest Egyptian pyramid.

Finally, visit the Necropolis of Dahshur, situated in the desert on the west bank of the Nile. It’s famous for its multiple pyramids, including two of the oldest, biggest, and best-preserved in all of Egypt. Get dropped off back at your Cairo hotel at the end of the tour.
